The Welsh Government's advice to all parents is that chldren should not normally be taken out of school during term time.
The issue of missing a large amount of time of school is very important as exams and assessments are now spread right throughout the year and not just in the summer term.
We are aware that a number of parents do take children out of school either for holidays or for visits to see family in other countries.
If you are considering taking your child away during school time, please make sure that you complete the form available from the office. This will mean that we can make sure that your child recieves the appropriate mark on the register.
Many parents book holidays after the end of Year 11 exams, all exams will be finished by the last Friday in June as this is the official date when pupils leave school. This gives you 3 or 4 weeks to book holidays before the rest of the school population head to the sun!!
