Geography is a thriving and successful department at Willows High School with 62 pupils opting to continue Geography into Key Stage 4 in September 2011. The department is led by Mr. Andy Cole who is experienced in the moderation and marking of Geography at both Key Stage 3 and 4 through his work with WJEC.
One of the key aims of the department is to make Geography relevant to our local area and we have developed many links with local organisations looking at how we can effect our own local area and the environment in which we live. For parents who studied Geography when they were at school, don't worry there are still plenty of earthquakes and volcanoes.
The aim of this part of the site is to give you an overview of what your child is studying during their Geography lessons and hopefully to give you a little bit of help in keeping up!!!
