Fire Awareness Course
Pupils from Llanrumney and Rumney High took part in a Fire Awareness Course.
It was a fun and exciting week.
We learnt
1. How to start a fire engine
2. What a fire hydrant is and how to use the hose
3. How to climb a ladder safely
One day we got to go into a dark house. We couldn’t see anything because we were doing a search and rescue task. We also played hide and seek in the dark house. Another day we were allowed to go for a ride in the fire engine. We learnt what a fire can do and that prank calls are very dangerous. It was hard work!
